If there's a single word that could best describe PTI, it’s Consistency. It all started when our sister company owned and operated several large powder coating lines and struggled to get consistent product from the giants of the industry. There has to be a better way, we thought, to procure exceptional product on a regular basis. And so, PTI was born. In the 1980s technology was changing the coatings world and vice versa. This made us eager to cultivate our own supply of powder coating, one that would effectively satisfy our need for exceptional coatings at a reasonable price.
We believe that what propels our business forward, and what makes our business thrive is the passion that drives it. We are completely devoted to our coatings, and protecting your reputation as if it were our own. That is the energy that sets us apart. As a privately owned company we aren't beholden to stock holders or other business lines. Although PTI has partners throughout the finishing industry, today we are solely focused on making the very best, highest performing powder coatings available.

Recognizing the need for small quantities of custom materials, PTI will manufacture in lots as small as 50 pounds. Our product lines include unique chemistries to satisfy expanding consumer demands and complement diverse manufacturing/assembly processes. Resin systems include Epoxy, Epoxy-Polyester Hybrid, Polyester-Urethane, Polyester- TGIC, Polyester – TGIC Free, and Fluorocarbon.
Most systems are available in a full range of color, gloss, and visual effects. Textures, River Textures, Hammertones, Wrinkles, Tinted Clears, and Stone Looks can be formulated to comply with a wide range of functional and decorative requirements. Functional properties may include anti-gassing, scratch and impact resistance, and anti-chip. Products may be tailored for Corona or Tribo Charging, and fluid bed applications. Low-temperature curing products are available in interior and exterior grades. Super-Durable Grades provide substantial improvements in exterior weatherability verses General Industrial polyester formulations.
